ABOUT OUR PRESIDENT
Brandon Gray
Brandon Gray, the owner and president of Atlanta Marketing Data and Mouni Unlimited, has over 8 years experience as a real estate appraiser in the Atlanta Metro area. Currently a Certified Residential Appraiser, Brandon had a unique baptism into the appraisal and property valuation profession. Brandon started his career after college as a registered appraiser for Advantage Appraisal Services, owned and operated by nationally recognized appraiser John Holbrook. During his tenure with Advantage Appraisal, Brandon quickly rose to become one of the shining stars in the appraisal profession. While many registered appraisers were struggling to learn how to measure a home or wade through public records, Brandon was learning how to evaluate complex lake properties and identify potential mortgage fraud within Atlanta's 303xx zip codes.
In 2005, Brandon started Mouni Unlimited Appraisal Services. Based off of his collegiate educational background in consumer psychology and sociology, Brandon wanted to create a different type of appraisal firm. He desired to not only be able to tell his clients what a property is worth but, more importantly, why it is worth what it is. He maintained that any appraiser could find three comparables to develop an "opinion" of value, but it took true understanding of socio-economic factors to be able to develop a true base for that opinion. Rooted in this philosophy, Mouni Unlimited quickly became a respected leader in the appraisal industry.
The company, much like its president, has quietly made its impact in the industry. While being modest and humble in the business world, Brandon has had the honor to represent the industry and community in ways usually reserved for few "old timers" in the business. Brandon has written advisory opinions and help consult on the Georgia Mortgage Fraud Act. He was consulted for his mortgage fraud experience by the Ohio State Attorney General's Office when legislators needed expert opinions from a trusted and experienced source. He has had the honor in helping develop industry classes in fraud to be taught to appraisers, real estate agents, and even the Georgia Department of Consumer Affairs. Brandon has been asked time and time again to consult with the FBI, GBI, Secret Service and the Georgia State Attorney General's Office in past and ongoing mortgage fraud cases. Brandon routinely has been selected by the Georgia Real Estate and Appraisers Board to conduct investigations in high profile and complex cases. And when the housing market started into decline, Brandon was one of the few appraisers consulted by Senators and Congressmen, warning of the impending problems within the industry and pitfalls created by Wall Street.
But with all that Brandon has achieved, he still strives for more. His number one goal has always been teaching the general public about housing issues. He is always willing to take calls from home owners and community orginizers to answer any question that he can. He feels knowledge is key to not being a victim of a preditority lender or mortgage fraud.
Brandon is active in the Lawrenceville community. He often attends city council meetings and his local home owners meetings. He serves on the Board of Directors for two 501C-3 charities, The Atlanta Reef Club and Saltwater U Teen Education Program. He is loved by his wife, Jennifer, and his son, Austin.
